Max factor false lash effect waterproof mascara

Max factor false lash effect waterproof mascara £10.99 Boots or superdrug

This mascara was from Superdrug and to be honest the only reason I bought it was that simply I wanted the lipstick that if you bought it  you got the lipstick free ( well the lipstick was £7.99) so not a bad price £10.99 for two items.

As it turns out the lipstick was bloody awful haha and far to dark for my fair skin and thin lips!
I usually use No7 waterproof mascara not because I think its amazing mainly because it does the job I have sensitive eyes and I have to admit I play it safe (hate runny sore eyes.)

Make sure you try any eye product on a night before you arent  going anywhere important especially if you have sensitive eyes theres nothing worse than swollen puffy red eyes.  I do dye my eyelashes but only because I have a few grey ones (so not fair!) this doesnt make them look twice as big or extra thicker, dying them just makes them look better and healthier + its a bonus that I only have to apply clear mascara in the morning to go to work to look like ive only put a touch of mascara on but on a night out you want the glamour look not the subtle work look.

When I applied this I was fairly impressed it went on well, the wand was a bit larger than what Im used to but again wasnt a big problem, dont get me wrong my eyelashes werent like Sheryl coles lol but then again I dont wear fake ones (sorry chezz) but they were quite impressive.

I would give this an 8 I like it a lot and it doesnt iritate my eyes at all so big bonus!!

I was once advised that when you use your mascara and you pump the wand up and down more than you should the air goes inside and makes the liquid thicker and drys it out hence the lumps and clumps you sometimes end up with. This could be nonsence but I have found it has made the life of my mascara a bit longer.

As its waterproof make sure you have industrial make up remover to take it off see my other blog I have a good review for a decent one.

Avon Nail experts pearl shine 10ml

Avon Nail experts pearl shine 10ml

I purchased this from Avon via a Rep where I work (you can also buy online too)
It was cheaper than normal I think its a bit expensive selling from around £6.
Avon often have sales but its worth searching the internet for the best price.

I managed to get this for £3.  This is the second bottle I have bought I simply love this nail varnish it is light and goes on so easy if your rushing around at the last minute thinking OMG I havent done my nails as your just about out the door on your way to wherever.  My nails are quite short and stubby thanks to me biting them for nearly 20 years so I dont think they are going to be super perfect anytime soon so you work with what youve got.

I first bought this for my wedding day as I just wanted something subtle I mean you dont want people just staring at your nails and not you on your wedding day lol!!

As in the pic its a gorgeous pink but the liquid is lighter and clearer the best way to describe it is a pearlescent very pale pink liquid which isnt to runny or thick, it catches the light really nicely too.

I would score this really high 9 out of 10 loosing a point because the original bottle is poor its plastic and the brush at the end congeals (the liquid inside doesnt.) I wore this for a week without even having to change it so long lasting.

Better I think for shorter nailed girls, this also makes your nails look brighter and the tips whiter.

Rimmel vinyl gloss shiny lipgloss

Rimmel vinyl gloss shiny lipgloss 730 cosmic £4.99 superdrug

I am not sure if this is a new product as I have only just noticed it.  I had a big night out over the queens Diamond Jubilee (just a party with the girls really lol) I was after a new lipstick  but needed something gold/bronze and looking at the tester thought this would be just the thing as it looks like a lovely darkish colour and therefore I should be able to wear this alone without a lipstick that you sometimes have to use to darken some lip glosses down, oh how wrong I was.

This lip gloss is wonderful if you want something for through the day as a night time product for your party outfit then its a big NO,  It went on pretty much clear and it was one of the darkest coloured ones on the shelf, it stays put a while and its very shiny but it wasnt what I wanted and I wont try the testers on as ive read to many articles on cold sores/cankers and how easy it is to contract them so please girls dont take the chance.

I have posted some pictures one is of my hand showing what I saw in the shop, looked good looked like it would be just what I wanted.

The other pictures are my lips with and my lips without please let me know if you have had the same problem. As you can see just a hint of colour really and doesnt look very bronze/gold.

Please dont waste a fiver on this as you could easily buy a collection 2000 gloss or other brands for a couple of pounds.

vivexin anti aging eye cream 15ml

vivexin anti aging eye cream 15ml £40+

Once again I am on the search for the perfect eye cream, one thats fights wrinkles and diminishes fine lines and crows feet ( I think this is some sort of holy grail thing does it actually exist!!)
I  bought this off Ebay after doing some research it was only about £13.00 so was worth trying.

This is what the its supposed to do-

Haloxyl® Reduces Dark Circles:
Vivexin’ s main component is Haloxyl®. Haloxyl® is a clinically proven ingredient that is designed to reduce dark circles in two ways. First, it strengthens the capillaries around the eyes to reduce the leakage of blood. Second, it uses natural enzymes to breakdown the existing dark pigments under the eye.
Eyeliss® for Puffy Eyes:
Eyeliss® is another key component found in Vivexin for reducing puffy eyes. Eyeliss® works in three distinct ways. First, it strengthens the capillaries and veins that leak fluid under the eye. Second, it promotes the drainage of fluid that collects under the eye. Finally, it decreases inflammation and reduces fine lines and the appearance of wrinkles.
Matrixyl® Eliminates Wrinkles:
As you age, the underlying network of collagen and elastin under your skin begins to break down. It is this process that causes your skin to lose it firmness and wrinkle. The Matrixyl found in Vivexin reverses this process. By providing your body specific protein, your body is able to produce more collagen, thus filling in wrinkles.
One 15ml bottle is one months supply currently selling online for about £40

Ok now the liquid is kind of thick and milky it has a faint smell like surgical type of smell and it rubs in pretty good so I cant fault that.  The bottle is small and the design is a bit gaudy and cheap looking.

I have used this for a few months and I have to say MEH! it really isnt anything good, to be honest since I started using Argan oil (see my review for it I promise you will like it) only then did my dark circles actually look a bit better, this cream just doesnt seem to do anything for me-
my lines are the same
My dark circles are the same (minus the Argan oil)
nothing is plumped or better in anyway

Now this product has all the ingredients that to me should work and I always buy from reputable sellers who have shops on ebay so to be double sure I bought the same product from a different seller and the product was exactly the same so I knew it must be the real cream. (Just for the doubters out there lol)

My verdict is dont bother Olay is probably better and more moisturising and cheaper.

I would like to warn people that Vivexin do a trial 20 days I think it is then you start paying please be careful Ive heard bad things about these free trials and would hate anyone to be ripped off for something that isnt all that good.

Argan Oil beauty wonder or just greasy face and hair?

Argan Oil

I am always hearing so much about this oil mainly for hair, I remember my sister staying at my house and me snooping through her beauty products (come onnnn we are all nosey) I found argan oil and put it on my face not being that impressed but that was until she told me that particular kind was for hair and had other products in it (meaning it wasnt 100% pure)

I finely give into this niggling voice in my head telling me to buy some, yes like the one that speaks to me when I see a bag or shoes I like too (dam voice cost me a fortune)
I did what I usually do I went on Ebay and had a look around as I just wanted to try a small bottle, now the advice is.

Always buy the oil in a glass bottle especially tinted to protect the oil from light.

Buy 100% unroasted do not buy deodorised as this can kill some of the goodness and make it less pure

It should be yellowy orange and have a smell a bit nutty, to be honest I just cant describe the smell its just weird, but disappears in seconds once you rub it in.

Always make sure that after 5 mins or so it sinks in it shouldnt sit on top of the skin.

The hardest thing is finding someone that sells the real deal and not some mixed variation the first sample I bought on ebay was way to thick, greasy and didnt sink in very well ok so I got it wrong but it was £2.80 for a small bottle which was plastic (but I didnt think then it mattered.) Also beware of the Argan oil that they use for cooking as people may try to sell this im not sure what the difference is I assume its tastier lol.

My second attempt was ebay again the product was in a small amber glass bottle and It is lovely its by a seller named Blackstonesupplies (I do not know them or are advertise them I simply am I telling you where I bought one just in case you think they are my friends lol)

I will buy this again but I know have opted for a bigger bottle as im hooked.

It does promise to do a lot of things which I think maybe over reacting a bit its only oil from a nut not some miracle antil-wrinkle product.  I havent used it on my hair yet as I havent really got dry hair but I hear its good for that so worth buying it for both if you need too.

I use it by putting on face cream, eye cream then about half an hour before bed I just gently rub some of this in and when I wake up my skin looks pretty darn good. Then in the morning put a tiny bit on my face and hands and dont forget your neck.  Ive been using it for a week now and already I had someone thinking I was 30 woohoo that will do for me its been a while since I had a compliment that good.

Just use it in with your usual beauty regime and you wont go wrong and make sure its real 100%  oil

So the sellers blackstonesupplies and returnallhealthmineralmakeupskincare and I have heard a website called Mir is good too so may try that sometime.

My opinion give it a go.  I bought a 50ml glass jar for roughly a tenner and the smaller bottle was £3.50 so your not going to break the bank.

If any of you use it for your hair please can you add your comments thanks.
